Mildew-X
Mildew-X is a revolutionary paint additive designed to control the growth of mold and mildew on the dried paint film … NATURALLY!
Mildew-X can be added to any latex coating. Once added apply the paint per manufacturers instructions.
We currently stock the 8.3oz size…enough to do a 5 gallon bucket of finish. You can also use the small measuring part of the container to measure out 1 gallon increments.
- The power of Mildew-X comes from combination of Lemongrass and Geranium oil. Together they have been proven to be highly effective against mold and mildew growth.
- Available in sizes to treat 1 gallon or 5 gallon quantities of Latex coating…that’s most all of what we sell except our Sashco Log and Timber which is plant oil. Also available in a 32oz. pump that treats up to 100 gallons.
- Add one 1.66 oz. bottle of Mildew-X to each gallon of coating, mix well and brush, roll or spray as usual.
- Effective up to 3 years
Not for use with Transformation ‘Log and Timber‘ or ‘Siding and Trim‘…for those use M-1 mildewcide. (it’s a function of the zinc oxide in the Mildew-X not mixing well into those products). Can be used with the Capture and Cascade line of products…however, as with many additives, it’s best to use up what you mix up as the long term storage will often be affected.
NOTE: Mildew-X has not been registered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency . Mildew-X qualifies for exemption from registration under FIFRA section 25(b).  It is a minimum risk pesticide.
