Bark Spud

Bark Spud, sometimes called a peeling spud.

• Used to remove the bark from a log.
• Can be used prior to using a drawknife or by itself if you’re only looking to remove the bark.
• Best used on non-winter cut wood.
• Handle is 18″.
• Blade curves front to back which allows for a bit of ‘prying’ to get under the bark when needed.
