Notes on Options for the Makita 9564 4-1/2″ variable speed angle grinder.

Osborn 4″ nylon bristle and Little Red buffing brushes are used at the lowest speed setting to clean up the ‘fuzzies’ left after pressure washing and smooth out many of the ‘grinder marks’ left when sanding.
We’ve heard reports that it’s best to run it for shorter periods of time…say 20 minutes, then onto another project until the tool cools down. The low setting is 2800rpm and the brushes do put a bit of a load on the tool at that high an rpm.
If you want to work continuously, try the 9227c

When ordering the backing pad and nut for the Makita 9564 4-1/2 variable speed angle grinder, you’ll need some Abrasive Discs.
