Fiberglass Rods
Fiberglass reinforcing rods are used in rotted ‘log end’ replacement.
Add structural strength to your repair
- 1/2″ are available as 2′ long…(generally, a couple of these per log end is plenty)
- 3/4″ are 4′ long
Install Fiberglass rods in sound wood and glue with our wood restoration products, Liquid Wood and Wood Epox. Liquid Wood to consolidate the rotted wood and Wood Epox to fill in areas. (Consider getting the Restoration Kit, which includes both Liquid Wood and Wood Epox)
