The Big Foot 10-1/4″ Beam Saw Adapter kit is used in conjunction with your Skil 7-1/4″ circular saw into a 10-1/4″.
It’s easy to see why the 10 ¼” saw kits–originally created for the Skil worm-drive saws—were such a hit.
With a newly added short depth slide and 10 ¼” carbide blade, this kit is a must.
Conversion kits come with complete installation instructions and install in about 15-30 minutes. You provide the saw..
There are 2 versions of the Big Foot 10-1/4″ Saw Adapter Kit.
- SK-1025kit-1: for all the older (2014 and Prior) 7-1/4” SKILSAW® Model HD77, HD77M, SHD77, SHD77M and Bosch® 1677M
- SK-1025kit-2: fit the new and improved SKILSAW® SPT77w, SPT77wm and SHD77-02 (2015 and Newer).
Kit-1 will only fit the original Type 17 saws…if you saw has any numbers after the ’17’ e.g 17-02, 17-23, then these kits won’t work. (Newer type saws have a different ‘top guard’ mount).
The kit-2 is essentially all the Type 17 series. Our understanding is that Type 17 is the saws built in the last 5 years and forward for the next 5 years. (Look on either the metal tag or a sticker on some saws to find this). You may have a Type 16 or 15, even though it may say e.g. HD77, it’s also got to say ‘Type 17’.
