Timber-Tec Chinking is a moisture cure log chinking compound based on a fast setting elastomeric polymer.

- Cures to exposure in just one hour...this is not full cure, simply the external 'skin'...thus, it's easy to apply even in cold temperatures.
- Extreme elasticity means Timber-Tec Chinking won't shrink and pull away from your logs; your log home will look beautiful and remain tightly sealed.

- Can be applied down to 30 degrees F.
The cure time (cure reaction) is driven by moisture and heat. A 3/4" deep joint will cure completly in 3 days at room temperature and 40% relative humidity. Cold weather will retard the cure time by as much as 14 days.
Timber-Tec is only available in 28oz. 'sausage' tubes...helps to reduce packaging waste.
This means you'll need a caulking gun made specifically for accepting sausage packs.
