Clamp and Carriage...

The 'Lumberjack' Clamp and Carriage is a two part unit...with an optional 'leg kit'.

• The Manual Clamping Device (LogMate), is designed to easily secure material with a short ratchet strap. This will center the wood left/right with the drill,
• Drill holder (TenonMate), (shown above on right holding drill and with arms (rails) that slide into the tube steel of the material clamp). In this system the drill will need to be moved up/down with the handle clamp to finish centering on the material.
• Add the 'legs' to the Log Mate and you won't need a table. Can be bolted to floor with built-in brackets.

The Log Mate

• Secures your material in a horizontal position with a vice-like grip.
• Made of powdercoated tubular steel for years of service.
• Quick ratcheting strap handles up to 6" diameter logs.
• It's possible to use this to secure material for peeling, drilling, and in conjunction with the Tenon Mate, cutting tenons.
• Can be used with both round and square stock.

The Tenon Mate

• Slides into rails of the Log Mate.
• Holds drill and tenon cutter in a fixed position for consistent cutting, increased safety and productivity.
• (Drill and Tenon Cutter in photo are shown for clarity and not included in the pricing).

The 'Legs kit' attaches to the Log Mate...made with the same tubular steel.

NOTE: You can order the parts individually, however they normally are ordered together. In particular...the material clamp is a nifty all purpose setup suitable for securing material while you 'debark-peel-drawknife-planer knots'...you get the idea.
