Made with no use of any power assisted equipment. Mr. Ohkubo of Japan personally hand-forges each blade from a lamination of the Yasuki white steel and wrought iron material.   The edge is fully sharpened and ready for immediate use. 

• Blades individually tempered to Rockwell c65 degrees.
• Handles are Red Oak
