A high quality wax sealer that provides protection to prevent end checking in freshly sawn green logs and lumber.

The sooner ANCHORSEAL 2 is applied after sawing/cutting, the more effective it will be in reducing end checking.

• Stops most end checking before it begins.
• Clear
• Apply to newly cut areas of logs or timbers--ends, notch cuts, etc.
• Will need to remove this product before you apply stain or finish to wood.
• For finished log homes--can be used on log ends that are very prone to weathering on top on most finishes or stains.  When it is time to refinish home, you will need to remove the Anchorseal before you apply a new coat of stain or finish.
• Do not allow to freeze in pail. (winter version can be thawed and restirred)
• Melting temperature after application is 130 degrees.
• If wood is placed in a low-temperature kiln (less than 100 degrees), product will evaporate before it could melt.
